Head over to Santa’s Camp to meet the jolly old fella and get your holiday photo with him ( December 2, 2017 It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s… Woodland Park Zoo is excited to welcome three members of the Justice League’s Big Seven – Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman – to attend Superhero Night at Wild Lights on Saturday, December 2nd.
The action-packed evening will include meet-and-greet and photo opportunities with the caped crusaders, superhero themed crafts, a super hero photo booth, and faux snowball fights with the superheroes inside Snowmazium.
Food kiosks will also be dispersed throughout the pathways. To help reduce overflow parking in the surrounding neighborhoods, parking will be free this year. Will shuttle service be provided from any Park & Rides?
The inside of the Rain Forest Food Pavilion will be closed during Wild Lights for group events and holiday parties. Yes, like Zoo Tunes concerts or a daytime visit to the zoo, visitors are permitted to bring their own food to Wild Lights. The north (Bear Lot), inner north (Otter Lot) and northwest lot (Penguin Lot) will open nightly; the southwest (Flamingo Lot), south (Hippo Lot) and lower Woodland lots will open as needed. Entry to the event will be through the West Entrance only on Phinney Ave. Sorry, we cannot provide shuttling from Park & Ride locations, however, we do encourage guests to consider taking the bus or carpooling. Metro Route #5 provides direct service to and from the zoo’s West Entrance.

Members can receive this discount online through the special membership link that will be emailed to them, or at a ticket window with a valid membership card. Tickets purchased online can be used on other evenings. How will guests parking in the south lot or lower Woodland Park get to the West Entrance?
However, members and corporate discount guests need to purchase their discounted tickets 12/14/17 or prior. Festive snacks will be available for purchase at the Pizza Corner at the Rain Forest Food Pavilion, and at the Pacific Blue Chowder House where covered seating will be provided. Guests can either walk west on 50th street, then north on Phinney to access the event (about 10 minutes); or they can take a free shuttle on nights when it is available.
